Deacon@StStephensSebastopol.org
Kate has attended St. Stephen’s in Sebastopol since September of 2000; she has worked as a Developmental Specialist for more than 30 years and enjoys her work time with families and children. With the loving support of the congregation of St. Stephen’s, she attended the School for Deacons and was ordained to the vocational deaconate in August of 2016. Deacons are called to interpret the needs, concerns and hopes of the world to the church. They are like bridges between the communities inside and outside the church. Kate considers it a great privilege to be serving as a deacon here!
